Smoking Cessation

Take Back Control of Your Health

Quitting smoking is one of the most impactful decisions you can make for your health. At Seale Harris Clinic, we’re here to support you every step of the way with personalized counseling and medical guidance.

The sooner you quit, the more years—and quality—you gain. Even if you’ve tried before, it’s never too late to try again.

What to Expect

Stopping smoking is a process, and it often takes more than one attempt. During your visit, we’ll work with you to:

  • Review your smoking history and past quit attempts

  • Discuss medications or nicotine replacement therapies that may help

  • Provide supportive counseling tailored to your needs

  • Monitor your progress and adjust your treatment plan over time

  • Help manage withdrawal symptoms and triggers

Common short-term withdrawal effects may include:

  • Irritability

  • Anxiety or depression

  • Restlessness and difficulty concentrating

  • Increased appetite or weight gain

  • Constipation or mouth ulcers

  • Higher risk of colds or upper respiratory infections (temporarily)

We’re here to guide you through every stage of the journey with compassion and proven support strategies.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY

Once checked in I hardly waited, the staff was so friendly. Dr. Barrows listened to my concerns, was knowledgeable and gets bonus points for laughing at my jokes. The lab tech was incredible, I did not even feel the needle go in/out at they drew blood. Cannot speak highly enough of this experience.

I was looking for a primary doctor in the area, and Dr. Casey was highly recommended. I’ve had several visits with him over the year and he treats me like I’m his only patient. Very one on one. He always answers my questions and is never rushed. From reception, ma, nurses, lab staff has always been very professional and helpful. I’m glad I made the change to this practice. I highly recommend Dr. Casey and his staff to anyone looking for a primary physician.
