Manage Diabetes Early and Effectively

Managing diabetes begins with understanding your numbers and building a support plan that fits your life. At Seale Harris Clinic, we focus on early detection, personalized education, and continuous monitoring to help you live well with — or prevent — diabetes.

What to Expect

During your diabetes evaluation, you can expect comprehensive lab work and clinical care, including:

  • Hemoglobin A1C (long-term blood sugar control)
  • Blood glucose levels (current blood sugar)
  • Urine microalbumin (checks kidney health)

Your provider will also:

  • Coordinate yearly eye exams to monitor for diabetic neuropathy or retinopathy
  • Discuss dietary changes and diabetes education programs
  • Provide free glucometers for ongoing blood sugar tracking

Symptoms of Diabetes

  • Increased thirst
  •  Frequent urination
  •  Unexplained weight loss
  •  Fatigue

Many people have diabetes without realizing it, especially in the early stages.

WHAT OUR PATIENTS SAY

Once checked in I hardly waited, the staff was so friendly. Dr. Barrows listened to my concerns, was knowledgeable and gets bonus points for laughing at my jokes. The lab tech was incredible, I did not even feel the needle go in/out at they drew blood. Cannot speak highly enough of this experience.

I was looking for a primary doctor in the area, and Dr. Casey was highly recommended. I’ve had several visits with him over the year and he treats me like I’m his only patient. Very one on one. He always answers my questions and is never rushed. From reception, ma, nurses, lab staff has always been very professional and helpful. I’m glad I made the change to this practice. I highly recommend Dr. Casey and his staff to anyone looking for a primary physician.

Seale Harris Clinic is the best primary care that I have ever had. The office is always clean and staff very friendly and professional. Nurse Practitioner Robin is awesome. If I missed Doctor Clifton is never a problem to get her to see me. Thanks for taking such great care of me
